Biography

Lidya Stamper is a Senior Associate with the Centre for Public Impact's Europe team. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics in Social Research Methods and B.A’s in International Relations and Public Policy from the University of Redlands. Prior to her Masters, Lidya worked as a Fulbright scholar in South Africa researching access to reproductive health services for internally displaced communities.

She is interested in understanding the broader implications of policy paradigms, and how policy agendas account for social, economic, and political contexts. Her background in human rights and policy evaluation has cultivated a passion for leveraging evidence-based research to develop multidimensional gender-sensitive policy interventions. She has previous experience working with UN Women, the Centre for Human Rights, and the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights.
