Edmond Rhys Jones

Edmond works at the intersection of the public, private and social sectors, with a focus on the public policies required to accelerate the global transition to a low-carbon, nature-positive economy.

Edmond is a Partner & Associate Director at BCG, where he co-leads the Center for Climate & Sustainability Policy & Regulation and BCG’s support for UN Climate Action. He has provided strategic advice and analytical support to successive COP Presidencies and High-Level Champions, and has helped corporate clients make sense of the commercial implications of the COP-process and the national policies that flow from it. He builds on many years’ experience supporting government departments to develop and deliver effective policy.

Before joining BCG, Edmond spent several years in the British Diplomatic Service, with postings in Washington and Islamabad focused on security, human rights, and development. He has a background in international and public law.
