Biography

Donna is Chair of the New Local Government Network and former Chief Executive of Wigan Council in Greater Manchester. During her time at Wigan Council, she led The Deal, a radical renegotiation of the relationship between the council and the town’s residents. A passionate feminist, Donna was awarded a CBE for services to local government in 2009 and named a Transformational Leader at the 2016 Northern Power Women Awards.
